- Day 1 Tangier to Fes
Your tour will begin with a pick-up from your hotel or arrival point in Tangier. From there, you will travel towards Chefchaouen, also known as the Blue City, located in the Rif Mountains. This city is famous for its picturesque blue houses and streets, and it’s a popular destination for travelers looking for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. You’ll have free time to explore the city’s narrow streets and markets before continuing on to Fes. Overnight stay at a hotel in Fes.
- Day 2 Fes Guided Tour
After breakfast at your riad, you’ll embark on a guided tour of Fes, one of Morocco’s most ancient cities. The tour will take you through the narrow streets of the old Medina, the Jewish quarter Mellah, and the famous tanneries. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit a tile art factory and the University of Al Quaraouiyine. In the evening, you’ll return to your hotel for dinner and rest.
- Day 3 Fes To Merzouga Desert
Today, you’ll travel from Fes to Merzouga, a journey that will take you through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing by Berber villages, the ski resort town of Ifrane, and the cedar forest of Azrou. You’ll then continue on to Erfoud, known for its fossil production, before reaching the Ziz Valley. From there, you’ll head to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, where you’ll enjoy a camel trekking experience to watch the sunset before arriving at a Berber camp for dinner, Berber drumming music, and an overnight stay.
- Day 4 Explore the Desert in 4x4 truck
After breakfast at your desert camp, you’ll enjoy on an excursion around Merzouga, visiting the nearby Hassi Labied village and the Khamlia village known for its Gnawa music. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit M’ifis mines and meet a nomad Berber family. Later in the afternoon, you’ll ride camels to watch the sunset and reach the Berber camp, where you’ll have mint tea before dinner and spend the night.
- Day 5 Merzouga Desert To Dades Gourge
Today, you’ll wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes (optional), have breakfast at the camp, and ride camels back to Merzouga. From there, you’ll drive towards the Dades Valley, stopping at the Rissani market (if it’s a market day) before reaching the Todra Gorge, where you can take a walk through the high canyons and have lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive at Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.
- Day 6 Dades Gourge To Marrakech
