- Day 1 Tangier - Chafchaouen
Start your 8 Days tour from Tangier and head south to Chefchaouen, known for its picturesque blue-washed streets. Explore the charming medina, visit the Kasbah Museum, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Rif Mountains. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen. Overnight in Riad.
- Day 2 Chafchaouen - Volibilis - Fes
Depart from Chefchaouen and drive to volubilis then to Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities. Visit the famous medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and explore its narrow alleys, bustling souks, and historical landmarks such as Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and Bou Inania Madrasa. - Day 3 Fes Guided Tour
After breakfast at your riad, you’ll embark on a guided tour of Fes, one of Morocco’s most ancient cities. The tour will take you through the narrow streets of the old Medina, the Jewish quarter Mellah, and the famous tanneries. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit a tile art factory and the University of Al Quaraouiyine. In the evening, you’ll return to your hotel for dinner and rest.
- Day 4 Fes - Middle Atlas - Merzouga Desert
Today at 8 :30 am. After breakfast, you drive towards the first destination, Ifrane, one of the cleanest cities in the world. You will be amazed by the flowers and the beauty of the city.
Next, you drive to the cedar forest of Azrou where you will take pictures with the barbary monkeys. In fact, the monkeys enjoy human company and they are used to be fed by tourists.
Later, when you cross midelt, you will start sensing the smile of the desert. It is the line that devide the atlas mountains from the desert.
You cross Errachidia, and then Erfoud where you will visit the fossils full of strange shaped stones. You will see how craftmen reshap them again and again to give an amazing look.
Later, you reach merzouga. You will find your camel driver you you surf deep in the desert where you will spend your night. You will eat Berber food and you will dance and sing. After a lively night, you can choose to sleep in your camp or under the stars.
- Day 5 Merzouga Desert - Rissani Market - Dades Valley
In the fourth day, you will start your journey by seeing one of the most beautiful sun-raise in your life. Sun rising in the desert is unique and gives an amazing view.
Next, you can see mirage-like scenery that resembles to an artist’s vivid paintings. You will trek camels again to appreciate the desert scenery even more and surf in a caravan to the village of Merzouga. After that, you drive to visit the Rissani Market where you can find authentic Moroccan merchandise like Berber jewelry, scarves and leather goods made from goat skins.
The market is really famous in the region and is considered to be the largest market in the south of Morocco. Next, we will drive to Todra Gorge which will take approximately 3 hours. This place is famous as a tourist spot for its rock formations and natural beauty but also for its hot springs called “Thermal Regs”.
Once you’ve explored the place, it’s time to move for lunch in a local restaurant before you continue your road. Later you continue to Todra Georges to admire the long rocks that touches the sky.
Finally, you end your journey at Boumaln Dades where you will spend your night in a traditional riad. You will enjoy your dinner and you may choose to go out and discuss with locals.
- Day 6 Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
At this point in your 8 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech, you leave Boumaln Dades towards Ouarzazate where you’ll discover the taste of the elegant Berber life. This city is located at the gateway of the High Atlas Mountains and is known for its rich history and culture as well as its fine-grained architecture.
There you will visit the Atlas Studio which is considered as one of the biggest cinema studios in the world with 63hectares. Many Hollywood producers used its for their films and series like Prison Break, Game of Thrones, Star wars…etc.
Next, you head over Aith Benhaddou, a Kasbah with rich history and thriving present. This Kasbah was home to many Moroccan leaders and currently is a fovourite place from historical movi producers.
