5 Day Morocco Tour itinerary

Day 1: Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Our 4-day desert tour begins with a pick-up from Errachidia Airport, heading south toward the Merzouga Desert. As we drive, we’ll observe wide open spaces covered with small rocks and pebbles stretching endlessly under a bright blue sky. Soon after, we’ll reach the beautiful Ziz Valley, the second-longest valley in Morocco.

The view of its winding road passing through thousands of green palm trees, red cliffs, and traditional Berber villages invites us to stop and enjoy the beauty of the area. Afterward, Our journey continues to Erfoud. This is a town famous for its fossils and minerals and the famous Date Festival, which attracts visitors from across Morocco.

From there, we’ll continue toward Merzouga. Upon arrival, we’ll shift the car by a camel caravan and begin crossing the golden dunes. We’ll pause to witness the beauty of the sunset, then continue to our desert camp. Day 2: Merzouga Desert Exploration—Nomadic Life & Gnawa Music—Second Night in Desert Camp
