After breakfast, return to Merzouga and begin exploring the fascinating desert region with your private driver. Continue to nearby villages and discover the traditional lifestyle of the communities living around the Merzouga Desert. You may also visit a Gnawa community and enjoy their traditional music. Later, return to Merzouga for some relaxing free time. Adventure lovers can try sandboarding in the Sahara Desert or take an exciting 4×4 excursion through the dunes. Travel through Erfoud, famous for its fossils and marble products, before continuing towards Tinghir and its beautiful palm oasis. Your main highlight today is the spectacular Todra Gorge, one of the most impressive natural attractions in Morocco. Take a relaxing walk between the enormous limestone cliffs and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. After exploring the gorge, continue through the scenic road towards the Dades Valley, famous for its colorful rock formations, kasbahs and green valleys. After your visit, continue towards the High Atlas Mountains and cross the impressive Tizi n’Tichka Pass, one of the highest mountain roads in Morocco. Continue into the lively souks, where you can browse traditional carpets, spices, leather goods, lamps and Moroccan handicrafts. Your guide will help you discover hidden corners of the old city while explaining the history and culture of Marrakech. From Fes to the Sahara and finally Marrakech, every day offered something different. The camel trek, desert camp, Dades Valley and Ait Ben Haddou were our favorite experiences. Morocco is an incredible country, and this tour gave us a great introduction to it.
This was a fantastic way to see Morocco in seven days. We especially enjoyed the desert experience in Merzouga and the beautiful scenery along the way to Marrakech. Having a private driver meant we could stop for photos and enjoy the journey at our own pace.
Our night in the Sahara was amazing. We watched the sunset from the dunes, enjoyed traditional music around the campfire and woke up early for a beautiful sunrise. The entire Fes to Marrakech route gave us a wonderful opportunity to see different landscapes and experience Moroccan culture.
We loved every part of this Morocco tour. Merzouga was spectacular, and the camel trek was such a unique experience. We also enjoyed Todra Gorge, Ait Ben Haddou and the drive through the Atlas Mountains. Everything was well organized, and our private tour made the trip very comfortable.
The Sahara Desert was the absolute highlight of our 7-day Morocco tour. The camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset was incredible, and spending the night at the desert camp under the stars was something we will never forget.
