Your Moroccan adventure begins in Tangier, where we’ll meet you at the airport or port. After a warm welcome, we’ll set off towards the Rif Mountains, where the enchanting town of Chefchaouen awaits. Known as the “Blue Pearl of Morocco,” this picturesque town is famous for its blue-painted streets and relaxed atmosphere. Spend the afternoon wandering through its charming medina, discovering local artisan shops, and enjoying the stunning views from the Spanish Mosque. Overnight in a riad in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, we head towards Fes, but not before making a few unforgettable stops. First, we visit Volubilis, an ancient Roman city with impressive ruins that tell stories of Morocco’s rich history. Then, we continue to Meknes, a former imperial city known for its grand gates and historical sites. Explore Bab Mansour, the Royal Stables, and El Hedim Square before arriving in Fes, where you’ll settle into a cozy riad inside the medina.
Today, we dive into the heart of Morocco’s oldest imperial city with a guided walking tour. Fes is a sensory overload in the best way possible—narrow alleys filled with the scent of spices, the sound of craftsmen at work, and the sight of ancient mosques and madrasas. Highlights of the tour include:
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Fes.
After breakfast, we leave Fes and begin our journey south. Our first stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its European-style architecture and cool climate. Next, we visit the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you can see playful Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. From there, we continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, arriving in Midelt, a peaceful town surrounded by dramatic landscapes. Overnight in Midelt.
Get ready for one of the most breathtaking days of the trip! We continue our drive through the scenic Ziz Valley, with its endless palm groves and lush oasis. As we approach Merzouga, the landscape transforms into the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert.
In the late afternoon, your camel trek begins—ride through the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes, just in time to witness a magical sunset over the desert. Arrive at your luxury desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under the stars, followed by live drumming around the campfire. Overnight in a private desert tent.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, a moment you’ll never forget. After breakfast, we set out to explore the desert region:
After a day of adventure, return to your riad in Merzouga for a relaxing evening.
Leaving the desert behind, we head towards the stunning Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs create one of the most impressive canyon landscapes in Morocco. After some time to explore, we continue through the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and ancient kasbahs. Our journey then takes us to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” where movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed. Overnight in a charming riad.
After breakfast, we visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah and one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks. Take your time exploring this ancient fortress before we continue over the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, winding through the majestic High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon, where you’ll have the evening free to explore Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, filled with storytellers, musicians, and food stalls.
Enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most vibrant cities. Highlights include:
In the afternoon, explore the souks, where you can shop for handmade crafts, spices, and textiles. Overnight in Marrakech.

Ten days flew by, yet we never felt rushed. The tour was well-paced, with just the right amount of driving and stops. I appreciated the breaks in beautiful places like Ifrane and Azrou. The night in Dades Valley was quiet and serene a perfect contrast to the bustle of the cities. Everything was seamless. We didn’t have to think about logistics once.
I loved how this tour struck the right balance between exploration and relaxation. The riads were all charming and well-located, and the guides were incredibly passionate. Learning about Moroccan history in Volubilis, sipping mint tea with nomads in the desert, and exploring the souks of Marrakech… I felt like I was truly living Morocco. As a travel photographer, I came back with some of my best shots yet!
We were a group of 6 friends and didn’t know what to expect, but this trip exceeded all our expectations. The transport was super comfortable (great A/C!), our driver was not only skilled but also so kind and funny, and the local guides in the cities were top-notch. Every day felt like a new chapter mountains, deserts, ancient cities, and unforgettable sunsets. Highly recommended!
This 10-day tour gave us everything we were hoping for and more. Chefchaouen felt like a dream the blue alleys, the mountain views, and the relaxed vibe. But then came Merzouga, and it completely stole the show. Watching the sunset over the dunes and sleeping in a luxury tent under a million stars was something we’ll never forget. The entire route is so thoughtfully planned.
We booked the 10-day Tangier to Marrakech tour on a friend’s recommendation, and now we’re the ones recommending it to everyone! Every detail was taken care of from airport pickup in Tangier to our final drop-off in Marrakech. The guides were warm and informative, the food delicious, and the changing landscapes blew our minds. We especially loved Fes and the desert camp experience.
