Your Moroccan adventure begins in Tangier, where we’ll meet you at the airport or port. After a warm welcome, we’ll set off towards the Rif Mountains, where the enchanting town of Chefchaouen awaits. Known as the “Blue Pearl of Morocco,” this picturesque town is famous for its blue-painted streets and relaxed atmosphere. After breakfast, we head towards Fes, but not before making a few unforgettable stops. First, we visit Volubilis, an ancient Roman city with impressive ruins that tell stories of Morocco’s rich history. Then, we continue to Meknes, a former imperial city known for its grand gates and historical sites. Explore Bab Mansour, the Royal Stables, and El Hedim Square before arriving in Fes, where you’ll settle into a cozy riad inside the medina.

Today, we dive into the heart of Morocco’s oldest imperial city with a guided walking tour. Fes is a sensory overload in the best way possible—narrow alleys filled with the scent of spices, the sound of craftsmen at work, and the sight of ancient mosques and madrasas. Highlights of the tour include:

• The University of Al-Qarawiyyin – the world’s oldest existing university
• The Chouara Tannery, where leather is dyed using centuries-old methods
• The beautiful Bou Inania Madrasa

After breakfast, we leave Fes and begin our journey south. Our first stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its European-style architecture and cool climate. Next, we visit the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you can see playful Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. From there, we continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, arriving in Midelt, a peaceful town surrounded by dramatic landscapes. Overnight in Midelt.

Get ready for one of the most breathtaking days of the trip! We continue our drive through the scenic Ziz Valley, with its endless palm groves and lush oasis. As we approach Merzouga, the landscape transforms into the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert.

In the late afternoon, your camel trek begins—ride through the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes, just in time to witness a magical sunset over the desert. Arrive at your luxury desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under the stars, followed by live drumming around the campfire. Overnight in a private desert tent.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, a moment you’ll never forget. After breakfast, we set out to explore the desert region:

• Visit Khamlia village to experience the soulful rhythms of Gnawa music
• Meet nomadic families and learn about their way of life

After a day of adventure, return to your riad in Merzouga for a relaxing evening.

Leaving the desert behind, we head towards the stunning Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs create one of the most impressive canyon landscapes in Morocco. After some time to explore, we continue through the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and ancient kasbahs. Our journey then takes us to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” where movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed. Overnight in a charming riad.

After breakfast, we visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah and one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks. Take your time exploring this ancient fortress before we continue over the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, winding through the majestic High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon, where you’ll have the evening free to explore Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, filled with storytellers, musicians, and food stalls.

Enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most vibrant cities. Highlights include:

• The Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech
• The Bahia Palace, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture
