Inside the walls, there are lively markets filled with bright colors, spices, and handmade crafts
Through the High Atlas Mountains, our journey continues, passing through valleys, rivers, and small Berber villages built on hills, making The drive itself feel like part of the adventure, with plenty of beautiful spots to stop for photos.
Few miles later, we will arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous landmarks. As an ancient village, made of earth and clay, it looks like something from centuries ago. You will have the chance to walk through its narrow alleys and climb to the top to enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding desert and river.
From there, the road continues to Ouarzazate, which is famous for its desert landscapes, historic kasbahs, and its role as a filmmaking hub. If we arrive early, we will visit the Atlas Film Studios and the Tourirt Kasbah or schedule it for the next day, before spending the night and preparing for the adventure ahead.
Your day begins with a delicious breakfast in the city of Ouarzazate.
