This 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will take you to some of Morocco’s most popular destinations. You’ll start in Marrakech, one of the country’s largest cities. From there, you’ll make your way to the Boumaln Dades, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional Berber Hotel.

The next day, you’ll explore the Dades Gorges and the Dades River. You’ll head towards Merzouga Desert, where you’ll ride camels into the heart of the Sahara. Finally, on your way back towards Marrakech, you’ll stop at Ouarzazate, home to a number of famous movie studios. After exploring Ouarzazate, you’ll continue on to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 1Marrakech to Boumalne Dades

4 Days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, the driver will pick you up from your accommodation and you leave for Dades. It’s a great 4 Days tour  from Marrakech.

 As you travel through the Tizi n’Tichka pass in the center of High Atlas Mountains, you will be amazed by the scenic view of the sneaky road. The pass is known for its twists and turns, and the views are simply breathtaking. At some points, the road is so narrow that it seems like you could reach out and touch the cliffs on either side. As you wind your way through the mountains, you’ll catch glimpses of stunning scenery, from snow-capped peaks to green valleys far below. It’s an unforgettable experience.

We make a stop at Skoura for lunch and then continue onwards. Arriving at the Boumalne Dades late in the evening, we will check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2Boumalne Dades to Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we set out to explore Dades Gorges. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Morocco. Located in the High Atlas Mountains, the gorge is a stunning natural wonder, with towering cliffs and a river running through it. You can go hiking or camping in the gorge, or simply enjoy the scenery.

It is also home to a number of historical and cultural sites. There are several ancient fortresses and castles in the area, as well as a number of traditional villages. You can learn about the history and culture of the region by visiting these sites.

Then, you will leave for Tinghir. You will travel on the road of 1001 Kasbahs to Tinghir. You will have lunch here. Along the way, you will have spectacular views of Dades River.

The Dades River is one of the most popular spots in Morocco. It runs through the Atlas Mountains and is known for its beautiful scenery. You can take a dip in the water or go rafting down the river.

Then, we leave for Merzouga Desert. Arriving there late in the evening, you will trekk camels that will take you deep in the desert. You will be welcomed by a glass of mint tea by nomads.

Later on, you will have dinner while you enjoy a campfire. The local nomads will amuse you with their singing skills.

Day 3Merzouga Desert to Ouarzazate

The Merzouga desert is a popular tourist destination in Morocco. It is known for its beautiful sand dunes, which are a big attraction for tourists. The desert is also home to many different types of animals, including camels.

After breakfast, we set out to explore Merzouga Desert. There are many different activities to do in the desert, such as camel riding, sandboarding, and hiking.

The desert can be very hot during the day, so make sure to pack plenty of sunscreen and water. In addition, the sand dunes can be very slippery, so wear proper footwear.

Camels are the traditional means of transportation in the desert, and riding one is a truly unique experience. Your guide will help you mount the animal. Once you’re mounted, your guide will lead the way and you’ll have the opportunity to take in the stunning desert scenery.

You will experience the aesthetic sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. It is one of Morocco’s two Saharan ergs – large seas of dunes formed by wind-blown sand. It is located in the province of Errachidia, within the region of Drâa-Tafilalet. The erg spans over an area of 22 km2.

The highest dune in Erg Chebbi reaches a height of 150 m. The dunes are constantly shifting, and every year they move about 10 meters.

We will spend the morning in Merzouga before we leave in the afternoon for Ouarzazate, the drive is direct with some stops in the main destinations.

By the end of the day, we will have reached Ouarzazate, the city that incarnates the beauty and the magie of traditional Morocco.

Day 4Ouarzazate to Marrakech

Ouarzazate is a city and capital of Ouarzazate Province in the Souss-Massa-Drâa administrative region of Morocco. At an elevation of 1,160 meters (3,810 feet), it is the largest city in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains.

After having breakfast, we set out to explore Ouarzazate. This city is nestled in the Atlas Mountains and is known for its stunning architecture and rich culture.

You will explore many mosques and kasbahs that dot the landscape. The city is also home to a number of museums and art galleries, making it the perfect place to learn about Moroccan history and culture.

After lunch, we explore Ait Benhaddou. It is known for its well-preserved architecture, which dates back to the 11th century. The site was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. It offers a glimpse into the country’s rich history and culture. You can explore the site’s many buildings, including the mosque, the kasbah (fortified home), and the granaries.

There are also a number of traditional shops and restaurants located within the site, making it a great place to experience some of Morocco’s food and culture.

Later on, it’s time to head back over Marrakech. By the end of the day, you will be at your hotel in the heard of the medina.
